The Self-containing Bookcase is a piece of furniture assembled without the use of dowels. The two-part uprights are held together by a system of notches.
Once dismantled, they can be stored in the upper part of the bookcase, which in turn fits into the middle part, which in turn is stored in the lower part, using the principle of nesting boxes. The idea behind this piece of furniture is an organic one, since changing the size of one element means changing all its proportions in return.
