Produced for Théophile Calot's TUBE.PHOTO.DASH exhibition at Casino Luxembourg, Gold Grows on Trees is a set of 270 royalty-free images made available to the curator, the institution and the guest artists.
These images, taken in the space of a day in and around the institution, depict a strangely fictitious space, a kind of set for a play in search of actors.
Halfway between the bucolic and the disturbing, these photographs are a reflection on a region that has made finance and tax optimization an important part of its economy. This political choice relegates its other activities to quasi-decorative functions.
