I’m nobody ! Who are you ?
Are you -Nobody- too ?
Then there’s a pair of us !
Emily Dickinson, extrait de "I’m Nobody ! Who are you ?" (1951)
Faced with the solidity of the real world and the absence of a magic talisman, we formulate, in front of our ten candles, three wishes which should not interfere with the natural order of things:
that the artists are on our side, just as we are on their side.
May our projects be quiet and subtle whatever their context.
May we never forget our pleasure and yours, even when we have to repeat gestures and ideas within a perfectly marked system.
Without further ado, we invite you to discover all the gestures of the 58 guest artists*, all involved in our journeys, as well as in the life of the gallery. Let's continue today to open Marcelle Alix through this fragment, which splits, multiplies or freezes, taken from one of the three poems that Marjorie Micucci** has finished these days, thinking about what has so often retained among us, in this setting which saw the birth of a thousand stories, ten years ago already.
