The project which engages, in a second time, two groups of participants (two classes of CM2 and CP-CM2) assumes the media logic of the exhibition which is conceived from the perspective of the catalog and the photographs it will have generated. It is therefore the photogenic nature of an exhibition that is brought into play or thematized by Aurélien Mole. The artists Xavier Antin, Roxane Borujerdi, Aurélien Froment, Julien Nédélec, Julien Tiberi and Clément Rodzielski are invited to produce works that will make up the exhibition. Through practices that are available via sculpture, installation, collage or archive, each offers a work in dialogue with a selection of pieces from the collection of the Fournaise museum. The protocol is known to everyone upstream: these work-to-work relationships are intended to be photographed by the second participants, the purpose of the exhibition. Making aware of subjectivity, of the idea of displacement, of the modulations of space undoubtedly represents the challenge of this project in which neophyte participants can intervene and stage themselves. In the action, it will also be a question of experimenting with the contexts of shooting, the tests of light, the value of chance as well as that of skill and reflection. The catalog is naturally a “participatory” work and is the subject of a public presentation.
