Plage is a series of 5 photographs of Master Ikebana Rica Arai’s compositions. Each Ikebana was photographed in backlighting so that the structure would be highlighted. The colored backgrounds were created in pre-production like the 1980s photographs made in studios.
Those images are aimed to be presented in a museum collection but only available under a postcard format at the entrance or at the museum’s shop.
